VOLANS' 1.2 meter diameter payload fairing is among the most spacious in its weight to orbit class, and can be configured for single small-sat or multiple micro and nano-satellite rideshare options.

VOLANS' unique restartable hybrid third stage will enable precise orbital insertion, as well as potential for orbital adjustments for multi-payload deployment.

HRF-1 is a unique solid fuel proprietary to ESS which has undergone more than 9 years of development.

 

HRF-1 solves the historical challenges of hybrid rocket propulsion, and delivers game changing cost performance levels.

 

HRF-1 combined with our eRAVEN oxidiser delivery system and cryogenic Nitrous Oxide [cNOX], produces densities comparable to solid propellants with the specific impulse levels of liquid propellants.
